Example Lesson Plan (ensuring CfE outcomes are achieved):
Learn – Meerkat, Owl and Elephant parts of our brain, how they react and how this can feel inside.
Move – Fun stretches and mindful movements.
Connect – Visual stories of our big emotions with self-massage and breathing strategies, e.g. ‘smell the flowers, blow out the candles’.
Mindful – Calming relaxation to rest our heads and bodies.
Be Kind – Group and individual affirmations.
